Dave 'Swarb' Swarbrick, British folk musician, 75

Can now finally RIP after many many years of keeping us entertained. Good on ya mate :)

Obit: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/jun/03/dave-swarbrick-obituary

I think I first heard and saw Swarb play at Cropredy in late 80's and more personally at the Edinburgh Folk Festival Easter '89 with Whippersnapper, if I remember correctly. He just kept on playing thru years of ill health probably brought on by his smoking. He's done remarkably well to reach 75 and definitely deserves a rest now.
I last saw him play live touring with Martin Carthy a few years ago just up the road at the intimate venue of the Junction 2 in Cambridge UK. Thanks for all the music Swarb.

Terry Brain, British 'Trap Door' animator, 60

'Children's' animated cartoon Trap Door was a Saturday morning communal ritual in our student flat back in the early '90s. Not all of us managed to get up for every episode, but it was a wonderfully surreal way to start your weekend.
Thanks to you and Willy Rushdon for making us laugh :)

Derek sadly went missing and died in July 2015 but his bodily remains have only just been found recently.

Thanks for the excellent and entertaining grooves at Larmer Tree Festival. You are missed.
